This monument is a viewpoint located in this traditional square. It was inaugurated in 2011 being the one that won a public contest organized by the Main of Seville to rehabilitated the square. The winner of that prize was the great Jürgen Mayer, who dazzles with a very attractive and flashy pergola that it’s worthy to pay a visit.
This pergola is made of a structure of 26 meters of height that work as a viewpoint of the city, offering the visitor an incredible skyline of the historic center of Seville.
The architect commented that there are two pillars of cement and its forms are like a group of mushrooms, that’s where its particular name came from.
